A great way to experience Vermont is to invite your extended family to join you for a reunion. Perhaps your family has a few vegetarians or vegans who are tough to satisfy in conventional restuarant settings. At the Sweet Onion Inn everyone will love the food. Here is what a family of non-vegans had to say when their Vegan Uncle convinced them to join him at the Sweet Onion Inn for two days of winter fun. Joe McKee - Before arriving at the Inn we had been skiing for three days and I was unable to find any vegan food, so when I arrived at the Sweet Onion Inn and walked in the door, the aroma put a smile on my face and I knew that I was in for a big treat. This was my second visit to the Inn and I will be back many more times. My wife Trisha who is not a vegetarian said the food served was the best she'd ever had. I've been a vegan for 10 years and enjoyed the variety of dishes served. I bought the recipe book and have made many of the dishes. Hey I'm Coree and crazy Joe is my Uncle. We are here at the Sweet Onion Inn with my family on vacation. The Inn has provided us with a friendly and warm place to stay. Ron is an awesome cook. Although I'm not a vegan and a couple things were not appealing to me, the breakfast was surely to die for. Ron was able to answer any questions we asked and Kathy was a sweet as sweet can be. I felt like I was at home here. Thanks guys Tinker McKee - I'm Joes mother from St. Pete, FL. I have raised four beautiful children, I love to travel and I'm a great card player. I'm here with three generations of McKee's visiting the Sweet Onion Inn. The hominess that the Inn created and the fabulous food made our family vacation a great one. The lesson I learned here was to get OFF SUGAR! Christian McKee - Joe is my uncle and I am a 7th grade student. I like to play sports like soccer and basketball. I am very talented on the piano. I really liked staying at the Sweet Onion Inn. The food was very good, and the hospitality was good. The beds were very comfortable and this was a nice experience. I liked the organic food too. I am from Florida and I really like the weather here. There were a lot of games and family things. We had a lot of laughs and it was super extra fun. David McKee - I'm Joe's older brother. I enjoy playing sports, spending time with family and being self-employed. Our family spent two days at the Sweet Onion Inn and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and the beds were extra comfortable. Snow skiing and sledding are ten minutes away. I would strongly recommed this quaint bed and breakfast. Trisha Mckee-Springer - I'm Joe's older sister from St. Pete, FL. I'm the mother of two boys, both athletes. I loved walking into the homey Inn and the aroma overwhelmed me. I couldn't wait for dinner. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but I loved the food. Ron's knowledge about food, diet and nutrition was immense and very helpful. Our family vacation was terrific. Charlie Springer - Joe is my Uncle and I am a college student. I snowboard and I am a lifeguard. The Creek (behind the Inn) is fun, but don't fall in. The healthy food was great, the beds comfy, very nice down to earth owners. Also great family games. Jenelle McKee - Joe is my Uncle and I'm from St. Pete FL. I like to play soccer, I'm President of my Junior class and theatre is my first love. I enjoyed the "hominess" and the home cooked meals. The games and the comfy bed also. And Ron looks like my seventh grade teacher! The Inn has six guest rooms and can accommodate 12 people. Call for rates and available times. We can help you plan your special family event that will be the subject of conversations for years to come. Innkeepers: Ron and Kathy Heatley
