Tour Route 100 Package

Touring Route 100 is an all day auto trip, but since you are your own guide, you can decide what interests you from the many options. This tour package will take you south of the Inn and then north again through the Madriver Valley and on up to beautiful Montpilier, the state capital of Vermont. You will enjoy some of the finest mountain views in the Green Mountain State as you drive North through a special paradise.

Your first stop on this tour begins 4 miles south of the Inn at Judy Jensens colorful Clay Studio. Here you will enjoy Vermont's wittiest functional pottery, sculpture, fountains, tiles and a few amazing chess sets.

Your next stop on this tour is The Bowl Mill at Granville Manufacturing where you can tour the bowl mill and visit the store with wooden kitchenware and gift items from local artisans. In the same area stop in and watch the glassblowers at Plush Quartz Art Glass. You will enjoy seeing free-hand glassblowing on this studio visit, and have a chance to take a piece of Michael Egans beautiful art home with you.

Next stop Warren where you will see a covered bridge, visit the Country store and Village Pottery and crafts.

By this time you might be ready for lunch or a snack and can stop at the Sweet Pea Health Food store and lunch counter.

Back in the car heading north on Route 100 to Montpilier where you can experience one of the most beautiful capital buildings in the country. Shop the unique downtown stores if you like and then head on to Barre to see the most unique cemetary imaginable.

We think that you will find many more stops to make along this scenic artery. But at the end of the day, you can look forward to a scrumptious four course, organic, vegan meal back at the Inn. We guarantee you will find the company of like minded folks to be a perfect ending to a delightful day in beautiful Vermont.

Tour Route 7 Package

This tour package holds many options for shopping and antiquing and could easily be an option for a second day trip. There is something for the whole family along this expansive journey between the mountains. Middlebury is your first stop to see the falls and shop. From there you will travel along the artery north as far as Shelburne Museum.

Middlebury is the town that sits between the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain. It's home to Middlebury College, a liberal arts college of international recognition, and the site of the Middlebury College Ralph Myhre Golf Course. Passing through the historic village is the Otter Creek, the longest river in VT. You can see its powerful waterfall from the Battell Bridge and through the windows of the Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center, located in a building that was once a mill.

It's a short drive to the UVM Morgan Horse farm where you can go on a guided tour and learn the history or this unique and powerful animal. You will see the horses and their trainers in action and have a chance at a yearly raffle to win a foal.
